This Wednesday is our favourite day of the year, World Chocolate Day and we’d like to encourage you to get creative. Bake a delicious dessert or gather the family together and make a batch of tasty treats. To kickstart your inspiration here are two simple recipes we love; and think you will love too.

Chocolate Baked Oatmeal:
The perfect way to bring some excitement to your morning bowl of oats. We recommend trying this recipe with our 100% plant based Peanut Power bar, but you can use any of our bars and still get an amazing flavour.
Ingredients (Serves 2):
- 80g rolled Oats.
- 120ml of Milk
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 banana
- 30g of Rebel Chocolate
- A pinch of salt (optional)
To kick off your morning right with this delicious and nutritious breakfast oatmeal, start by pre-heating your over to 180°C. Mash your banana in a bowl and add in your milk, cacao powder, salt and oats.
Break up your Rebel Chocolate bar into tiny pieces and stir it in with the mixture before placing in the oven for 15mins until ready. Voilà, a delicious and nutritious breakfast!
Those choosing to indulge this World Chocolate Day should definitely try this delicious treat that works brilliantly with the soft creamy caramel flavour of our White Chocolate.
- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- ½ tsp of baking powder
- 1/8 tsp of baking soda
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- ½ cup of cranberries
- 60g of Rebel White Chocolate (broken up).
Start by pre-heating your oven to 175°C and coating a baking dish with a light splash of melted butter and flour to prevent sticking.
Melt the butter and mix in the sugar and stir before adding your egg and vanilla extract. Whisk thoroughly and once combined, add your flour, baking soda and baking powder plus our delicious White Chocolate.
Spread the batter evenly in your pan and bake for 20 – 25 minutes, allow to cool before cutting and serving.
